My best friend, her husband and their two children decided to follow their dream and moved from Roseville to San Francisco. If anyone knows of you who know me at all that I am all about following your dreams. This is the unselfish side of me. Here's the selfish side. My best friend moved away! Oh, sure ... We talk on the phone, and I am every day, sitting here looking forward to visiting their arrival for a much needed, but it's just not the same. I can not go only by a pause and> Glass of wine with her and talk. I can not call her and say, "Hey, let's go out to dinner." Yes, I'm whining and I'm not too proud to admit it.
So, of course, it makes me think. What is a best friend? What is it that makes me miss her even though I have so many other friends, I enjoy hanging with? Why, if something happened, and I think, "Oh I am a friend of this" say, I choose have to choose your number? I know you find this difficult tobelieve, but I started to ask other people the same. What I like with this: Inevitably, we choose one person for our partners to come in life. Any individual may bring up and grow old with children. Then, after a certain time, or perhaps after a certain time in our lives, we recognize something. We are aware that the person we have not met a partner chosen everything in life. It's a frightening realization at first. It is one thing that even we can make our decision question, andThat is frightening. Here's the thing. Nobody, and I mean nobody, can meet every need in our lives. You say that your partner should be your best friend. I know that with some, but to a certain extent. Does your partner bring the funny like your best friend? Does your partner play golf like your best friend? Can your partner to go shopping all day with you and at the end of the day with empty hands go out and say it was a great day? I dare say the answer is no. So what does allthis mean? Well, it means that we are actually chosen two people in our lives. We choose a partner, and we choose a best friend. The two relationships can not work separately. All three of you have work well together. It does not mean that your best friend and your partner have to hang, but it means that they can.
We all celebrate our relationships with our partners, but do not you think we need to ensure that we celebrate our relationship with our best friends? Make aPoint to say, you're best friend that you celebrate your relationship with them. Next time you bring out the funny, or shop or play golf, make it as easy as the beer commercial puts it.
